Two posts in one day!! talk about last minute lol..My second piece this month for the Papaer Artsy blog was inspired by Lin Brown. I absolutely love her metal work and missed out on every class she did at her shop!! But I was dertermined to have a go at her project this month. You can pop over and see Lin's here I didn't have the stencil she used so chose another flower with a long stem as I knew I was going to put in on a bigger piece of chip board. Earlier this month Lelania Lloyd did a wall hanging where she stamped into grunge paste and I decided that was what I wanted to do with my base. you can see her post here. I used the script stamp from SN10..(love this script) I followed along with what Lin did with the metal but probably missed some of it as I don't have my pc near where I play..
I did use one of Lin's new paint colours..Marlin and I love it!!
When it was all put together I added some white fire treasure gold and wrapped some cream coloured string around the middle with a bow finishing it off. Loved doing this and will definately be playing with the metal a lot more!!
