Bit of a mixture

My good friend Helen from twitter was also on the PA blog on day one and did a lovey hanging board...so I thought hmmm...may do one of those...then on day two another lovely friend from twitter appeared!! Kirsten with her lovely piece....again I thought hmmm..also on day two was Ruth with a lovely bright sunny canvas...hmmm what to do??? So I did this.......

I love the size of the hanging boards..great to work with..and I loved the way Kisten had mounted 3 different sizes pieces on hers..and I loved Ruth's background, with the stencilling and bumping.(a tecnique picked up from Lin and Leandra). So I started with my background and kinda went off on my own from there. I love my Lynn Perella stamps so out came one of my new sets LP027. I used limelight, zesty zing, beach hut, south pacific, hey pesto, inky pool and smoked paprika frescos.

The birdcage lady was stamped and cut out and mounted onto the smaller piece. I cut a flower from one of my paper artsy dies and scrunched it up and sprayed it with perfect pearls mist which settled in all the creases. A little acetate butterfly on the top and finished...

Thanks for stopping by........

  5. I just love everything about this! The bumping is fabulous and the colours are just perfectly suited to that pretty LP image. Another gorgeous make, Lin! Sorry I'm so late commenting, Sundays are always a bit hectic for me; but I get round to looking in the end and it's always so exciting! Julie Ann xxx
