One of the guests over on the PA blog this week was Helen Mazengarb. she
did a lovely journal spread which was my inspiration this week..You can
pop over and see it here. I loved the colour she used so went along with the claret fresco for my own page...
I used grunge paste, tissue and dreamweaver crackle paste for some texture..just as Helen had done. I then put a coat of gesso over everything.
Once this was dry I used a baby wipe to rub away some of the claret fresco to reveal some of the white gesso.I stuck an image from the internet (can't remember where) and put some grunge paste around the edeges to blend it into the page.
Painted in with the claret and rubbed some of that back when it dried.
I then stamped along the bottom using black archival and smudged around the edges. I printed the quote on my pc and stuck it to a piece of card and cut it out..edged it with victorian velvet distress ink and stuck it onto the page...
Thanks for stopping by....
