Inspired by Liesbeth Fidder

Liesbeth Fidder was GD over on the Paper Artsy blog this week and one day one she shared a beautiful card she had made using the LP030 collage stamp...you can pop over and see it here Now I haven't had a chance to use this set yet and thought of something I could use it with so went for a rummage in my shed. I had bought this folder at Ally Pally in april and hadn't had a chance to decorate it yet...until now!!

I started off by painting it all black.

I then followed along with what Liesbeth did and cut out all the tiny squares...I used two stamped images for the front of the folder and just a few of the squares in the inside which I used my white sharpie to put tiny white dots around the outside.

I can't remeber the name of the paper I used inside (sorry) I stamped on top of this and used some more LP images..

I covered a few of the small images on the front cover with crackle accent although they don't seem to have crackled that well!!
I had cut down the concertina bit in the centre which is now the perfect size for No 3 tags!! Watch this space!! Here is the fininshed piece....

Thanks for stopping by.............

  4. Ha ha! I got here before the end of the day! This is fantastic, Lin! It's beyond gorgeous! I love what Liesbeth's been doing - as you can imagine, knowing me - and I really like how you interpreted her ideas on this! The inside, though, is just brilliant! I love what you've done with that sunflower decorative bit - don't know what to call it! This is smashing! Looks like you had a lovely play in your shed! Julie Ann xxx
