On Sunday over on the paper artsy blog we welcomed a new GD.Clare Lloyd. Her first project was an altered wooden spool. It was so cute I had to have a go. You can pop over and see it here along with the step by step instructions.
I didn't have the sqiggly ink stamps that Clare used but because the project was so wacky it need some wacky style stamps. I took a selection of A6 plates from paper artsy and stamped a few images onto white card, painted them all with frescos and cut them out. I cut different pieces from different images and played around with different combinations until I was happy. It's a bit..anything goes really..I had a lot of fun with these so ended up making two because I couldn't decide. Other than the images I pretty much followed along with Clare
Here's No 1. I must admit this owl is one of my favorite PA images and I am lucky enough to have it in two sizes
And No 2
Had a great time making these they took my mind off of having to go back to work tomorrow :(
thanks for stopping by........
