Well this is Carol's last week on the Paper Artsy blog and her first project was to alter a pencil box...I didn't have an unused one so decided to recycle...you can see Carol here..and very nice it is too!!
I followed along with what Carol did but used a different stencil and put lace and ribbon around finished box with some pearls. Not sure what I will use it for yet....
Not the best of pictures but the best I could get today...thanks for stopping by

Another fan of recycling... don't think I'll be able to do it again though... Love your delicate colouring and the ribbon is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteLove that damask stencil Lin and the pretty pale colours...... course I do, they're green, lol! I've just got a selection of greens out wondering if I have time to do a box.... hmmmm!
ReplyDeleteYour box has turned out beautifully and the lace trim is perfect to go with the damask design. Love it!

This is gorgeous, Lin; what perfect stencilling! I've been going mad, it's the apron all over again, I've had every box down in the craft room to try to find my pencil boxes but gave up in the end. I would have much more time to craft if I could find things!
