Inspiration from Jo

Well it was Jo Myhill's last week on the Paper Artsy blog and she came up with some cracking pieces again!! Some of us were in York this weekend for a visit to @pinksparklegirl and a trip to the Christmas market..(but that's another blog post lol). You can pop over and see Jo's work here...beautiful.
I loved the project on day one so popped out to my shed this morning to make a canvas inspired by the piece she did on day one. I actually managed to use liquid leaf without gassing myself!! I more or less followed along with what she did so won't bore you with all the details apart from I used ferro instead of treasure gold and a mini canvas instead of the heart. I used snowflake and nougat frescos.

Thanks for stopping by.......

  7. I love the effects you achieved here Lin! Fabulous! If I saw that on sale, I'd want to buy it! Is the shed in more of a mess now?! Hope you had a lovely time in York! You look happy in Sam's pics. It's a great place to go at Christmas, so full of atmosphere. I went to university near there and it's one of my favourite towns. Julie Ann xx
