Alison bomber did a really pretty little jar this week over on the paper artsy blog..you can pop over and see it here...so after all the housework was done (sorry for swearing) lol..I had a little play and came up with this.....
Try as I might I couldn't get a good picture. the paint is a lot more translucent than it looks here. I used pea coat (the older translucent one) chatreuse and beach hut frescos..just followed along with what Alison did..and stamped the houses from Lynn Perella 012....I didn't add string as it won't be a hanging it will be sitting in my work shop with a nice smelly candle..
Thanks for stopping by.........

oh, that looks fab!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Lin! The colours do look pretty and you got a good stamped image on there especially as the you had an angled surface to stamp on.

Ha ha, you nearly got me there, uploading some posts early so I wouldn't think you were going to do a last minute one! I love this, perfect choice of stamps and colours, and the Bonne Maman embossed wording adds to the charm,

ReplyDeleteSo lovely - love the Bonne Maman jars, and the text is a really great bonus. Fab stamping! I know exactly what you mean about trying to photograph the translucence - annoying, isn't it?! Lovely make - thanks so much for joining in!

Sorry I'm so late, Lin! It was a busy family day today so I'm really behind. Anyway, this looks really pretty: those colour choices are perfect. Once again I wish I could see it in its true glory! Great choice of LP stamp too. Happy Easter and don't overdo it with that housework!!! Julie Ann xxx
