On day two Michelle made a lovely box for her seeds..well I don't do seeds so I decided to paint a box for my tags. I bought this bag/box at Stevenage and it has just been sitting on my desk.
I painted it very much like Michelle's...you can read about it here. I used the same set of stamps and stamped the bird on crackly tissue and tore it out. I coloured the rope handles with watered down sky and ice blue and dried them off with my heat gun.
So here is the finished box with some of my tags in...thank you Michelle for the inspiration...
Love this Lin!! Great idea to have somewhere to store your tags (I could do with one too, just need to find a box...!)
ReplyDeletedid try to leave a comment a while ago but my pc froze on me, so hoping for better luck this time!
What a great idea. The tags are starting to mount up so this is a timely idea. Attractive and practical
ReplyDeleteI love useful art...this is gorgeous Lin! x
ReplyDeleteLin, this is awesome! Love the "take flight" next to the bird...genius! Lovely colours, you've matched them perfectly. The grass stamp looks amazing doesn't it? I love it. What a great tag box to treasure. Good luck with the draw. Michelle x
