Inspired by Elen Vargo

Over on the Paper Artsy blog this week Ellen was back using her brand new stamps!! I was inspired by all her pieces which you can see here. Now I don't have any of  Ellen's stamps yet so had to improvise.
I brayered Tango,Yellow submarine and London bus onto a piece of grey board that I had gessoed. I then just stamped some of the borders from Frames 4 and kids 4 using chalk fresco paint. I also used a coupls of abstrat stamps from hero arts...

Then out came the black sharpie and I went round some of shapes to make them pop.

When this was done I cut my piece into 4 and edged each one with black archival. I have no idea what I will use them for...so watch this space!!

  1. Oooh this is wonderful, perfect amount of white!

  4. Really cool Lin, these are going to be great backgrounds.

  5. Brilliant colours Lin. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

  6. Oh, ho - busy weekend... and fabulous results. Not sure they need anything else do they? Maybe one word each (but then I would think that...)
