Lazy Hazy days of Summer

Over on the Arty Inklings blog Anita is doing a challenge.."Summer" so I thought I would have a play and enter.  You can pop over and check out the blog here We have had a pretty decent summer  compared to last year...I decide to do a simple journal page in my moleskine..because when I think summer I think the sea...and the sun..

I painted the pages using various blues and yellows from the fresco range. I then stamped on crackly tissue paper and painted the image from the back. It's a stampin' up stamp but I can't remember what the set is called. I tore out the image and added it to my page along with a quote from a Paper Artsy nature plate stamped out with a peg alphabet in grey ink onto to tissue...A very plain page but say's it all for me about summer!!
